Cold Iron Anthology

Another weekend has passed and I'm trying to find some Monday Motivation... must to do something to aid writing career... must do something to become a better writer... must not fall asleep at work...

Today I used my minimal reserve of Monday motivation to submit a short ghost story to the Cold Iron Anthology, an anthology edited and published by Iron Press. They're looking for short stories between 1,000 - 3,000 words with a supernatural theme. Vampires, werewolves and zombies are a firm no but ghosts, spirits and poltergeists are a big yes!

Working to the brief, I wrote a story with a modern feel based on an experience I had working alone in a run down, creepy office. Hopefully it'll fit the bill for what they're looking for and I might find myself in next years printed anthology! I'm quite happy with the idea so I might also adapt it into a short film, making it my 4th short film project. We shall see...

If you're interested in submitting to the competition then check out the website. Submissions are strictly by post only and must be received by 30th September. Good luck!
